Cosmetic dentistry

A small titanium post serves as the root of a missing tooth. It is placed in the jawbone where the tooth is missing (usually with local anesthesia), fuses to the bone as you heal, and is topped with a custom-made crown that matches your existing teeth. Implants can replace one tooth, several teeth or all of your teeth, and can also support removable dentures. They have a 95% success rate and help preserve the bone in your jaw.

A crown, also known as a cap, covers a tooth completely above the gum line. It strengthens a damaged tooth, restores function and can improve the original appearance of the tooth, and it can replace a tooth entirely when used as bridgework. Preparing and placing a crown typically takes two to three visits.

Porcelain veneers are as thin as a wafer and are bonded to the fronts of your teeth to create a brand-new surface. They can improve color, size and shape, and minor alignment and spacing issues. Dental porcelain is tough and resistant to stains, and many shades are available.

Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin to fix chips, discoloration and gaps between teeth, or to replace missing tooth structure. It is one of the least expensive ways to get the smile you want, and with proper care it can last 3–10 years.

Professional whitening at the dentist’s office is safe, effective and long-lasting, using stronger bleaching products that can lighten teeth as many as eight shades in one hour. Your dentist performs an oral exam first and supervises the treatment so your teeth and gums stay safe.

Sealants are invisible plastic coatings that smooth out the pits and grooves on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, where children are most prone to cavities. They can reduce decay by as much as 70%.

Dr. Yaser J. Wehbe

Practicing since 1991

Dr. Wehbe understands that your dentist should be someone you trust. He has high exposure to all restorative and cosmetic needs and a unique approach to dental care that combines compassion and attention to your financial status. He will work with you until you reach a stable, healthy mouth.

He is a graduate of the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, a member of Dawson Academy (for doctors striving to be physicians of the masticatory system) and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His study at the TMJ Center at Dawson Academy enriched his knowledge to eliminate guess work and provide predictable success.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Wehbe enjoys skiing, outdoor activities with his wife and two daughters, and competitive soccer. He is a fan of all Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots.

Dr. Keisi Ikonomi, DMD

Currently living in Quincy, MA, Dr. Ikonomi has extensive training in renewing and preserving people’s smiles. Since the age of 13 she dreamed of becoming a dentist, and she fell in love with intertwining patient care with art and dexterity. Today she remains just as passionate, providing exceptional care for her patients every day.

Dr. Ikonomi studied human physiology at Boston University before earning her dental doctorate at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She continues her education through continuing education courses and dental conferences, has received hands-on implant training, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Raised in a tight-knit family, she loves spending time with loved ones, trying new restaurants and cuisines, cooking new recipes, listening to educational podcasts, being active, traveling and exploring small nearby towns. A fun fact: as a child she always ate the stickiest and sweetest candies, exposing her to the dental field early on!

Dr. Marie Walsh

Dr. Walsh comes from a big family of dental and medical professionals, starting with her granddad, who was the only dentist in his hometown, and her mom. She received her Bachelor of Science from Fordham University and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Tufts University in Boston, and practiced for several years with her mom in New York City.

She and her sisters used to play in the lounge of her mom’s office in New York, where patients would stop by for a quick hello or drop off baked goods for everyone — a welcoming place to be. She later moved with her husband and two daughters to the Berkshires, and now has two grandsons.

In private practice she enjoyed general and cosmetic dentistry, transforming smiles and improving dental health overall. After moving to the South Shore she worked as an associate dentist with Middleboro Family Dental. Since 2019, Dr. Walsh has been with Wareham Family Dental, which has become her home office.

Outside of work she loves the sunshine, nature and gardening, hiking, cross-country skiing, yoga and pilates, and is passionate about art, food and music.

I'm a baby when it comes to pain and she takes the time during procedures to ask if I'm feeling pain, and if so more novocaine is given, thank goodness. In fact, alll the staff at Wareham Family Dental are professional and welcoming, always saying "Hi Pam" when I walk in the door. How they remember who I am I'll never know, they have so many patients! They even have a specialized root canal dentist, Dr. Thomas, who is also very kind and makes sure I'm handling the root canals alright and gives more novocaine as needed. I've seen other dentists there when Dr. Walsh is not available and they all perform a fantastic job. In fact, I've been with the practice for the last 9 years and I can't think of one experience that was not exceptional. I recommend Wareham Family Dental to all looking for great dental practice. And again, Dr Walsh is an excellent and exceptional Dentist!

He's not only exceptionally good with keeping you pain free through precise placement of novacaine, but his craft itself is beyond anything I've ever experienced with any other dentist. He is so exact that I can't tell where my real teeth are in comparison the crown work he so perfectly has done. He is also extremely ginger when handling intstruments for drilling or grinding. When you first apply for financing through Sunbit, a soft credit check will be performed to determine your eligibility. A soft credit check has no impact upon your credit score.

After the finalization of your purchase, you must make a down payment. This down payment is then applied to the total amount of your purchase.
